The Ayurveda Tribal Health Care Research Project (ATHCRP) a unit of Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) which is an autonomous organization under department of AYUSH, MoH & FW, Govt. of India, New Delhi. It was established in the year 1984 at Malacca of Car Nicobar Islands but unfortunately this unit along with all records merged under sea due to Tsunami on 26/12/2004. Thereafter it is shifted to AYUSH Hospital, Port Blair and providing the health facilities to Tribal and General public of Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
